Paying for Your Service
We accept the following forms of payment:
Cash or Check
If we will not be billing insurance or you are paying for a “non-covered” service or product, we offer a generous pay-at-the-time-of-service discount for your eye exam, comprehensive medical exam, or refractive surgery. Your balance must be paid at the time of service to qualify for this discount.
Credit or Debit Card
We accept most major credit cards. We also have the technology to keep your credit or debit card on file and, with your permission, auto-pay your balance should your insurance not cover them in full. Please ask about this convenience when you check in for your appointment.
Please note: We no longer accept CareCredit or WithCherry financing.
You may also opt to pay your statement or copays online:
Financing:
Cascadia Eye is happy to be able to offer our patients with high balances due to elective surgeries (such as LASIK, Refractive Lens Exchange, or large optical orders over $1000) our own in-house 0% interest financing for 10 months. No credit check, no applications. The only requirement is you must have a credit or debit card on file and allow auto payment monthly.
Understanding Your Insurance

It can be confusing to know how to manage your insurance coverage. Cascadia Eye’s committed and caring revenue management staff are happy to bill your primary insurance company for you. We can also give you an estimate of your benefits, so you’ll have a better idea of what your insurance may or may not cover. In addition, we can also provide you the necessary information so that you can bill any secondary coverage you may have.
When we quote you benefits, this is only an estimate of your coverage and not a guarantee of payment. We relay the information given to us by your insurance company. This information is not always accurate. Consult the benefits information that you receive from your employer for more detailed information. When your insurance company processes the claim, they may pay differently than what they initially stated. You are ultimately responsible for any charges.
Here are just a few of the plans we can bill for you:
Vision Service Plan (VSP)

Cascadia CARES Program
Cascadia Eye has opted out of the state Medicaid-DSHS-Healthy Options eyewear program, and instead offers our own public service eyewear plan called Cascadia CARES.
Cascadia CARES gives patients a larger selection of frames than is offered by the state plan, offering higher quality and more up-to-date styles. The delivery time is typically under two weeks, whereas the state plan can be over two months. We provide single vision or progressive lenses that are edged and hand mounted in our own lab. Should you opt for progressive lenses, your out-of-pocket cost will be the same as if you were using the state plan, as we follow their fee schedule. The one exception is single vision lenses, as you will pay $60 (slightly above the current state plan).
Please note: We are not utilizing your state coverage for our Cascadia CARES plan, so you are free to not only receive the Cascadia CARES benefit, but also take your prescription to another facility who handles state plans and receive the benefit there.
* Some complicated prescriptions may not qualify. This offer may not be combined with other offers. Only those who prove eligibility for the state plan qualify for the Cascadia CARES plan.
Billing Assistance
We have a dedicated Patient Accounts staff member available for questions about accounts or, in the event you have difficulty with payment, can help you with a payment plan or other options. They may be reached by email at privateaccounts@ncascade.com.
